woof -- i was born in 1931 -- i lived through the depression -- no electricity, no inside plumbing, no (few) paved roads until 1943

and there were many, many, so many, in our circumstances, we did not envy those living otherwise

But, once we moved to town, I have never looked back -- there is always a better day to come -- and

lord knows

life is good

the daughter that we lost last Nov 30

was a blessing to know her

we remember the happy days and times
