If the techies and the luddites are going to rumble this would
be a good time for it--the food crisis is forcing the
reexamination of ideological premises re genetic engineering
just as global warming has for nuclear power.

I don't think a top-down critique of pharming is going to
get any more traction here than in Europe, where it would
have were it going to anywhere. The anti's are a spent force.

Perhaps I overestimated the impact of a public forum moderated by professional clinicians in dissuading idiots or in making such idiotic comments look ridiculous. I wonder what I was thinking, ridicule anything like faith in the USA, surely a smart career move!

But I guess we will find out quite soon, because I think a advisory panel will happen. It is just in the nature of bureaucrats to cover ass where possible.

Hopefully GTCB mgmt gets their collective head out their collective ass and does all those other things they keep promising to do.
