Up here in ORE-GONE, our local trash collectors make $50K+ pr yr with a nice benefits package and retirement plan....They drive trucks with mechanical arms that do all the lifting for them. They pick up refuse in one container, recycle in another container and glass in a third container.
They make a fine living and you have to know someone inside to get a job with them...Pretty weird how things are so different on opposite sides of the country.
