benz, look, no one's work is WORTH millions of dollars. To my way of thinking, the men who collect my garbage every week are far more valuable. Our system of capitalism doesn't necessarily award the people in the most equitable way. A group of guys took over the company my husband worked for years ago, and partied their hearts out almost the entire two years they were there. They took the company public and made millions upon millions of dollars. They DID NOT earn it.

Benz - He wants to help the people who work for him to do better and he supports his country with his money in the form of taxes AND he thinks and says it is only fair to pay more taxes - what a concept ...;)

He sees that without a strong middle class and without a strong infrastructure the country becomes bankrupt , both physically and financially as we are now and he wants to help stop that .. He wants to pay up .. ! .. What an example .. ;) - !

And yes - good government , which we have had in the past has done a darn good job at working for the people in this country ... I believe it is why we were one of the most sound and richest nations in the world . "Used to be " - is the key.

We have been slowly going down hill - imo , it started with RR ... slowly eroding the middle class - unions - privatising things under the guise of "It will give the consumer lower prices" .. HA! - which it never - ever has - not in any example - NOT ONE.
