Hello to ya thrifty...Well I know without any doubt that you know the Bible many times more than I do so I would never get into a debate about such things with you unless we could carry it over a few days so i could look and seek as we go...and im afraid you would get bored with that....

1970 was the year that i 1st got involved with the booze and drugs and as we all know it went down hill from there...yes i was a needle user... for a period of years along with probably every other one of the dozens of drugs of that era....I also know very well of the whole drug and homosexual movements..if you will...pretty much came to life and started in California in the early 60's....Most folks dont know that even disco...which I hated stemmed from the homosexual movement in the early 70's.

I know very well how sick that LA and San Franisco...the Haight-Ashbury district and the whole Bay area became from the drugs and homosexuality of that time...not 1st hand like you but from folks i knew in the 70's that had lived it...many of them back from Vietnam and hung out there for awhile...

Now to me...back to the Bible thing.....I have always thought that AIDs was put here by God in response to the homosexuality movement..because the Bible tells us all about such things being wrong....but Im not sure that it specifically warns or makes reference to drug addiction although it speaks of drink and that im sure could be related somehow.....But with the way they Bible attacks...if you will...homosexuality....I just believe God gave it to man and woman that took and takes part in such activities....the thing is...the drug abuse help spread it among the masses but that might have been Gods plan as well....I guess we will know such things when it dont matter no more...

NOW...Im not defending drug abuse here....I was a drug addict for 25 years...I know all about it...maybe I should attack it more...though I do in life outside I-hub....I guess I just get so tired of all the publicity that the gay community gets and what I THINK it is doing to the world and family as we know it....Friday when I posted all that...was the national day of silence..a gay thing...or whatever...and it just set me off...as far as the board getting quiet....I guess what i was implying is that when homosexuality is brought up on the board there never seems to be discussion about it...the board is silent about thought or feelings about it.....hate the sin...love the sinner..

So anyway....that is that.....I am pretty sure my friend that you will say what you want to say when you want to say it regardless of what anyone thinks are says and you will be ready to back it up with the good book...Thats one of the reasons i love you my sister....I see you as full of sas!

Now...thats all the buttering up im gonna do...LOL....but regardless of who won the debate or argument in the 60's and 70's between the homosexuals and the junkies....I still say that AIDs is a curse from God to get the gay communities attention.....but now it is getting the worlds attention because of the world as we know it... is on it way to hell.

And you right...not much is gonna change....we can just do what we can do and get fired up now and again...im full of sas to my good friend!

Jesus warns that these terrible judgments will only set the stage for the terrible judgments of the tribulation.

I did a google. I remembered the name. They called it "Gay Related Immune Deficiency Syndrome"....before they called it AIDS. FWIW
