How predictable! The remarks were shameful, and were not taken out of context. You have merely indicated that in viewing the entirety of his speech, you agree with his statements. This is perhaps what momentarily threw Obama, most of the Democrats he knows, agree with Wright, so he had no particular reason to think anyone would question his attendance at Wright's church for twenty years.

The remarks are as contemptible when considered in the full context as they appear in the youtube videos. We'll see if the independent voters are ready to drink the Marxist kool aid.

It was far less than the number of slaves taken during the ottoman empire from russia and from eastern europe. About a million Europeans were enslaved just in Northern Africa. Brazil had slaves until 1879, and Saudi arabia had slaves until 1969. its still rampant in Africa. does black liberation theology exist in Serbia or turkey or in Brazil?
