Funny how all the jobs are dissaperaing(sic) but the unemployment rate of around 5.1% is about the same as during CLintons fabulous economy


How is the unemployment rate figured out?

I was under the impression the number is derived from the amount of people who are collecting unemployment benefits. How about the people who have collected for the maximum amount of time and are no longer eligible but are not receiving unemployment checks anymore?

Are they not still considered unemployed?
