NASDAQ Global and Global Select Markets

As long as we're dreaming about a higher exchange, I wish Good Life would at least consider one of these Nasdaq markets, the "best of the best."

"The NASDAQ Global Select Market, a segment of the NASDAQ Global Market has the highest initial listing standards of any exchange in the world."

GL seems to qualify for all the requirements except for that nagging min pps of $5.00. I don't know what feats of financial marketing and financial engineering could make this work, but what a goal.

Are companies required to comply with all listing requirements at the time of listing?

Companies must generally meet all listing requirements at the time of listing; however, consistent with the Securities and Exchange Act, a grace period of up to one year from the first trade date may be granted to companies completing initial public offerings to secure their independent directors and/or to establish audit, compensation, and nominating committees, which meet NASDAQ's requirements.
