Sandler is never going to give anyone any information, IMO. He and the mysterious investors group took on more than they A) realized, and B) could handle. He's an honest guy who made an effort commensurate with his abilities, and he soon realized the task was hopeless. He disconnected the phones, tore down the website, and has gone on with his life. He doesn't feel the need to humiliate himself with the responsibility of telling everyone the story of his failed efforts. It's very easy for anyone to sail off into the sunset without ever explaining anything. Occassionally he responded to a few lucky individuals who were in the loop, so to speak, and gave them vague, hopeful, reassuring statements that alluded that things were going to happen soon, etc. etc., and then he continued doing whatever he's been busy doing. Soon, he won't even respond to them anymore.
It is naive to believe that "No one would invest in a company if they didn't intend to make it work, therefore, it will work, it just takes time." As if no one else in history has ever poured money into a company but failed to make it work.
The intent is not in question here. This company just has too much baggage to ever have a viable chance of raising the financing it would take to ever produce anything that's going to generate any revenue.
I am past denial. I am past anger and frustration. I'm just an arm's length away from the light switch, and someday it will be time to finally turn them off and we can all go home.
Until then, it's just a waiting game. All in my humble opinion, of course.
