I do not want to "promote" any kind of division or sectarian dispute. I want everyone who claims to be a Christian to hold the Bible and nothing else to be the standard of truth in their life. The battle between the shia and the sunni is just a battle between two groups who worship a false god, an idol.
When I am asked what denomination I belong to, my answer is always that I am a Christian -- I happen to attend a Baptist Church, but I am not a Baptist, I am a Christian. I wish that all viewed their Christianity the same way.
