nwsun...

"so hagee's version of christianity is more true than wrights?

That is probably not how I would have put it, but yes. From a purely Scriptural point of view, Hagee's teaching is far more Scriptural than Wright's. The Afrocentric "black liberation theology" that wright espouses is not Scriptural at all, while as far as I know, Hagee's presentation of the Gospel message is very accurate.

"thats how i remember everybody thinking when i was growing up and being indoctrinated into catholicism, that our beliefs as catholics were gods favorite and by default i was gods favorite...

naturally, i had friends who were of different religious backgrounds. mostly they were lutherans and methodists..i didnt my meet my first jewish person till i was 17 although i knew that the jewish synagogue was next to the golf course...

we just didnt talk about religion back then and say openly that our faith and belief in god was better than yours... but secretly, we knew it was true... we were gods favorite... i didnt realize at the time that all the other denominations of christianity knew they were gods favorite too...

2 questions.... so who is mistaken? and which brand of christianity is the state sanctioned one? "

First, praise the Lord that none of them are "state sanctioned". As to which one is God's favorite, if there was one it would always be whichever one has doctrines and tenets that most closely match what the Bible teaches.

But God does not deal so much with denominations -- He is much more concerned about what each of us believe in our hearts. Here again, He is most pleased with those who hold beliefs that are most compatible with what the Bible teaches, as long as they strive to incorporate those beliefs into their daily lives. Our goal should always be to live our lives in such a way as to bring Him praise, honor, and glory.
