No, someone doing something when he was 8 years old is meaningless if that is as far as it goes.
Ayers planted bombs at the capitol and the pentagon, and his wife participated in robberies where policemen were killed. He was a member of an underground terrorist group that supported the violent overthrow of our government. He and his wife are totally unrepentant, and proud of what they did, saying that their only regret is that they did not do enough.
Now that 8 year old is an adult, and old enough to make his own decisions in life. For 20 years he sat under a ministry of Black Liberation Theology, where hatred for whites and America was preached from the pulpit, and he remained friends with the terrorist and his wife. That tells me a lot about obama, and none of it is good.
And yes, the questions are very germaine to the presidential race.
