Huge gaining small stocks:

From a post I made a few weeks ago in resonse to usmale:

"usmale, here are some of the mentions from SI of stocks that have rison from the ashes:

BIPH--nano medicine. Went from 10-20 cents to $3 in 3.5 years, and 40 cents to $1.40 in just a few days, when nano was seen as an emerging field. They had a $4-5 million loss in the year prior to the move, debt not bad. The market cap at beginning of move was only around $1 million.

BITI--FDA submission tech firm. Went from 25 cents to $8 in 3.5 years. Good financials. Market cap at beginning of move was around $1.8 million

TVIN--security/army survival tents,etc.. Went from 15 cents or so to $2 in 3 years. Good financials. Market cap at beginning of move around $4 million.

MED-Medfast drink. Went up 24 fold in one year. Beg price was 14 cents Lost $3 million in year prior to move. Market cap at beginning of move around $1 million.

NUTR-Nutrisystems. Was on OTC, 2001 4t qtr hit 12 cents. Price went up from around $3.50 to $75 a few years later. Market cap at end of 2001 was around $3 million. Decent financials.

CTUM--surgical technology. Went from .03 to $1.20 in 4 months in early 2007. Now at $1.45. Net $6 million in debt in prior year, and lost over $3 million. Market cap at beginning of move was about $1 million.

PFCE went from .03 to 94 cents in about 1 quarter in early 2004 on the fuel cell craze--they were just a developmental stage company..

PCLI market cap is around $2 million. Like the above, is in a good competitive position in an emerging potentially large industry. Price is a bit lower, and financials are poor, but their market cap is in the same ballpark as these others were before their stunning moves.

I hope that helps some,
