The only thing broken is the record this sounds like.

What do you think Dothan TDP will be at launch?

About 20% less than the TDP of a Banias running with
the same processor and FSB frequencies. Considering
its higher clock for clock performance than Banias and
Dothan represents about a 30-40% improvement in
computational power efficiency.

So far I only see that the process hits a wall around 3GHz. Will they have any problems with a 2GHz processor?

Heat problems are not linear forever. At a certain clock point the power usage starts to increase geometrically. Prescott ran right smack into this problem.

What we do know is that Intel claims excellent yields with Prescott. This means that things look pretty good in the mid 2GHz area (2.8 and below). That is evidence that Dothan will be in much better shape.
