Marty I agree with your analysis, but I think you're a little early. The new bull market is coming, but I think we have another quarter to go through to get to it. I do like your timing better than mine though!

I agree 100% with you regarding economy/market direction and the possibility of one heck of a short squeeze. I would guess from your post that you are a long term investor, rather than a trader with a shorter time horizon. I am a LTBH kind of investor.

However, swing traders can still make money on the short term swings, which requires "going short" at times and going "long" (and long for them might only be hours or days) at others. I'm guessing that's what poet is talking about. For me, I don't have the attention span nor the intestinal fortitude to be a trader. More power to those who do! <VBG>
