I want to make one comment in this regard, then I really am off to bed for a few hours.
I do not like being the Admin. I want nothing more than to post about stocks on this site. I wish I was able to join you guys.
I created this place as a hangout for myself. I'm creating the kind of place I'd want to hang out. And eventually, will, one day. I really look forward to the day when I can hang out with Muell, Arch, Patsy, Josh, Excel, Joey, etc etc on a stock posting, member level.
But for now, I have to do what I gotta do. And that's accept the Admin role. We all do things in life that we don't really want to do, but know we must. The site is a reflection of myself. The image and structure is still being put in place. Until it's done, I'm going to keep banging away and slapping wrists.
I'm not a good Admin at all. I don't always play by the rules. I do what I think will work. Often, I am wrong. But that's the way I am. I can't do the robot thing.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy leading, interacting, and building this community. It's awesome. It's not a 'job,' but a project based on passion. It's just the disciplining of people and keeping track of who did what to do, that is a pain sometimes.
One day, I hope to pass on the Site Admin to some young kid who can manage this thing the way it should be done, from the Admin perspective. For now, though, we gotta roll with what we have. And that's me.
