The fundamentals for the semi sector continue strong and the charts look mostly OK.
My impression is INTC is a buy at this level and when it starts moving higher the others will, too. AMAT is also important but reports rather late in the earnings season.
TXN reporting today might help move the market.
The political and world situation, rising interest rate and inflation fears are in the news and shake the markets.
As you note the semis often lead the market and certainly help get the NDX jumping.
