Keep in mind also that Steve is a former thespian who has appeared in many local plays and off-Broadway productions such as Play it again Sam, Carousel and The American Dream.
As a fellow actor, I know that not everyone understands or appreciates our sometimes unusual sense of what is actually "funny." Actor's assume that every joke they tell is the best anyone's ever heard. lol
