Usually they act just like a Call. Warrants also tend to have a lot longer time to expiration. I imagine there are warrants that have restrictions but they're basically just a call. The only other time that I can think of besides a dividend that a warrant owner would want to early exercise is in a tender offer situation. To tender stock you must actually own the stock and not a synthetic like a warrant. Maybe also if a stock was hard to borrow would you possibly consider an early exercise. Later Bow.
