its a whole lot more believable to me that there are other forms of life in our huge universe than the stories that the bible tells... i could see how primitve minds from the biblical times and before could see space travelers as gods and then build a belief system around them.. that of course would eventually be corrupted and turned into a money making venture complete with tax exempt status...
