Mace Security soars as it launches new DVR line

NEW YORK (CBS.MW) -- Mace Security International shares surged more than 50 percent Tuesday after the maker of security products launched a new digital video recorder product line. Mace said it plans to launch other new surveillance products later this year as it strives to become a leader in that field. Other security stocks were hit by profit-taking of the prior session's strong gains. ICTS International , which provides aviation security services, was down 17 percent at $6.99. Electronic security system maker International Electronics was down 20.8 percent. Digital Recorders , which makes mass transit-related surveillance products, was down 10.8 percent.
