Nice find TT. How much do consumers have to pay for one? How many of us are going to rush out and buy one? I assume it is set up for a maximal of one recording per download also--no sharing with friends. Of course the studios have to approve content too--something the majors have clearly shown a great reluctance to do for the internet at this point. Witness the small numbers the Apple TV product has..
As I said before, down the road it probably will be a good thing for Sonic. Home burning won't affect the kiosk market much for quite some time.
That will be nothing but a niche market. What is the price of the recorder and again you must have high speed INTERNET what about printing the jacket ect ect ect. I think all of us realize there is going to be competition all I want is Protocall to get there market share. Also Ttattletell you also must remember SOME PEOPLE LIKE GOING TO THE STORE! TO SHOP TO LOOK AROUND TO SEE FRIENDS to get out of the house.
Also renting movies from the cable company I rented two movies from the cable company last month now I remember why I don't like it. I got the frigging bill yesterday the cable bill is high enough and adding movies on it just increases the pain when I sign the check to pay for it.
