You're confused, obviously. ;)
The 8xx series was, prior to the cuts, way out of line in relation to the 2xx series. For most applications, it made the purchase of 2 2P systems a better buy. The current pricing rationalizes 4P system prices.
As for demand, we have Sun, HP, and, according to the press, IBM, all shipping 4P boxes this quarter, in addition to all the tier 2 and 3 players. Just a guess, but I'm thinking they must sense some demand out there for these SKUs.
