Okay...good..got it. Seems clear that this makes p2p with encrypted snippets a double winner, triple even if the cost delivery is much greater.
Still, per my earlier Q, if the content owners are committed first and foremost to stamping out pirating...and therefore they strongly support screening/blocking/slowing of content to find and stop the illegal stuff, if the ISPs do do this, will this slow our delivery or possibly stop it on networks/ISPs who feel they need to do this?
I guess it all goes to the neutrality issue. What if an ISP takes the position that they will only allow streaming of the content from xyz sites, and we're not one of them? What's to prevent the ISPs from even becoming part owner of some of these content sites which would heighten their desire to stream only their own content...of course under the guise that they're attempting to stop pirating.
Seems like this issue is HUGE and has yet to be determined which way it'll go. Maybe this, among other company specific reasons, is why the PPS lingers?
