good point... dont make too much sense to the bible thumps because its not about making sense...its about selling redemption by pandering to the fears and ignorance of the sheep.. myths and their prowess are always remarked upon in a past tense,....case and point, the jesus story or should i say fabrication.. ...at least mary and joseph had a chance of being a real people from history.. neither were born to virgins to my understanding, maybe thats why the catholics give mary and jospeh so much meaning and acknowledgement in a figurative sense... ps - ive kissed the feet of a statue of jesus in my life, i think it was around easter.. i was quite young.. does that make my an idolator? or just pushed into something i had no idea about but was made to do as i was an impressionable child at the time.. common sense kicked in for me and many like me...what happened to you?.

I believe you are more intelligent than that statement would indicate. Did you ever read the New Testament?? Every word in there was written by people who were contemporaries with Jesus. Ever read the writings of the early church fathers?? Many of them were contemporaries of Jesus and many more were just one generation away, and personally knew many folks who walked with Him and were eyewitnesses to all He said and did.
