Now I seem to recall that I was looking at the documentation of Socket 940, when it was the only one available, before Socket 754 was released, subtracting the missing middle pins, I notice that some pins labeled LDT1 and LDT2 were missing.

Socket 939 may have enough pins available to expose all 3 HT links.

BTW, do you know if the support of DDR2 will require more pins of the socket that DDR?
