If you're concerned about religious extremism, who's more threatening -- a presidential candidate who wants to alter the constitution and return the country to Jesus, or an Islamic grandma in Africa ?? That said, I was happy to see evangelical protestants buck the party powerhouses, who had used them for years, and support one of their own, in large numbers -- one who truly represented their core political and religious values. And many speculate that the Huck factor played well against the snakeoil salesmen -- the establishments choice for president. Gotta love that!!
