Yeah like these con artists are now going into the biofuel business. Whatever is hot right? They have (supposedly) done the debit card thing. The Microforest thing. The Venezuelan Bond thing. The "get shorty" thing. The alternative stock exchange thing. The theme park thing. The expansion of the Panama Canal thing, the "we are getting uplisted" thing. The "audited financials are coming" thing. The buyout thing. etc ad nauseum. None of the things they have claimed to be doing have amounted to anything at all and the biofuel BS is just more of the same ole same ole.
If anyone believes these PNMS management goons, they deserve what they get when they lose their money.
Some studies suggest that converting land for crops such as palm oil used for biofuel can generate far more in carbon emissions than the savings delivered by the fuel.
Increased use of biofuels could also prompt food shortages, campaigners warn, as greater areas of farmland are turned over to biofuel production.
Kenneth Richter, Friends of the Earth aviation campaigner, said: "Biofuels are a major distraction in the fight against climate change. There is mounting evidence that the carbon savings from biofuels are negligible.
"If Virgin was really serious about reducing the aviation industry's impact on the environment it would support calls for aircraft emissions to be included in the (UK government's) Climate Change Bill."
Another source for Biocrude/Biofuel products is USSE/SSTP. They have a process where they can put biomass in a hopper at one end and produce various biocrude products at the other end with less then 1% water content. They can use many plants such as soy beans, Jatropha and even pond scum. Not pushing the company just noting that Biocrude type fuels are the future.
