The more you buy, the better the price. I was quoted $4000 per board in lots of 8 throughout the metropolitan areas in Texas (Houston, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio), and that's with a 50 showing. Buy 50+ of those and the price just gets better. In contrast, the price of running a full-page black and white ad in the Wall Street Journal National Edition will run you $164,000. A full-page color ad in the Wall Street Journal National Edition runs $210,000.

gravy I just can't fathom that they could put out the money for that much bb space...and explain to me what exactly they're going to put on the signs? It really makes no sense to incur this expense to THIS mode of advertising, if any mode is necessary at all. How often do you see billboards advertising something that consumers can't actually buy? And using billboards to drive people to a website to get them to invest is ludicrous...For whatever reason, 20k shares of mine never executed today so I'm still in for any possible short term increase but I hope to take some time tomorrow to see what Lindale says about details of this campaign..ie cost per month, how long they will run, what the boards will have on them exactly and in which markets they will run. Will they be standard billboards or the digital kind which would greatly reduce cost but also would reduce exposure...also I want to find out what they hope to accomplish with these boards...if he is vague or evasive, it will be even more clear this is a ploy...I don't know whether this is legit or not but I do know that, as a former small business owner, there is much to be explained about the rationale for this method of advertising...
