I have heard this but it’s not phrased in such crudely commercial language. Management says, “We surveyed 150 of the leading clinicians in this field, asking what magnitude of treatment benefit would induce them to change their treatment regimens to incorporate our drug. They told us __%, and our trials are powered at 90% to show such a benefit.”
