Alt Tell me why you recommend the firewall be on, I have a 2 mbs cable connection, with a Linksys wireless 'g' router. The only ports open on my Mac are for Rendezvous, iChat, iTunes sharing and ports for video/audio via webcams. Do you think yesterday's strange 'lookupd' behaviour may have been some external nastiness probing my system?
