Zeev, one of the reasons for the seasonal pick-up in the US equity markets is the reallocation of Japanese assets back to the US equity market after the financial institution March 31st deadline to meet central bank ratio requirements. With the purported lack of intervention on the Yen/$ exchange rate, the PM advertising on CNBC how strong the economy is and to buy japanese stocks, and the overwhelming $ asset exposure japan currently has .... this maybe one time that the reallocation doesn't occur ... and those expecting it so they can sell into it ...for the other seasonal pattern, the summer maliase, maybe sorely disappointed. just something to consider ...
