my first instinct is to say that the stock would move higher, faster, but this is just because imo retail will be in the minority. but the opposite could be true, too. i doubt these major players want a chart that's full of peaks and valleys.
if they can control the trading pretty effectively we may see them build a big board type of chart. steady churning higher would probably sweat out a lot of flippers and swing traders on the bid. they have the depth of capital to absorb these sellers and just keep pushing it higher.
the institutional traders may chase retail out of the stock to the upside just as they did it to the downside. but i think all along the way new money will continue to arrive, and this will also create a much stronger, less volatile chart. jmho.
