I DO spend some time on some of the stock-specific boards, but rarely read them through and through.
I typically try to play a handful of stocks and get to kno whow they trade very well.
Most of my posts on stock boards are for my own amusement. I have sort of a fetish for getting people cranked up and thinking about how to trade rather than worrying about whats coming down the pike
