Haven't had much of a chance to take profits. I've been practicing cutting my losses. I was in COPI at an average of .089 and got out at .058. that is where most of my loss came from. The other losses have been a little here and there off of what seem like solid picks. I'm currently sitting in PRFT. I got a margin call waiting for that to go back up to the buy point. I could have taken a $20 profit early on the buy in day. I waited until it hit 9.69 to buy. Figured it would fill the gap then run back up. Doy!!!
Maybe this will help you... I had the same problem so I set min/max dollar goals on every stock. I also track every trade I make. I even keep notes on each trade so I can look back and learn. Chart taught me this in the very begining.
Take several small gains and bank the money.. when you feel more confident about your trading expand your goals.
I stop trading Pinks (no matter what). I don't even play the ones the WU has recommended.
The primary stocks I watch for and play are the Pincher plays recommended here that have postive earnings (EPS).. these have very little risk IMO.
