Joe - that very much looks like the J-Plate (from Vetco) again - don't notice a Moray anywhere in that pic. Are those the yellow parts when fully assembled, that become a Moray? I'm going where's Amore?:)

Looking at this J-plate photo, you will see a large orange pipe-like attachment on the top/right of each J-plate. This is where the ROV inserts it's torque wrench to turn the large screw inside (i don't know the name of the screw)
It looks like that screw then pulls the back plate tight to the front plate, forcing all the stainless steel connectors into the sockets on the mating plate of the undersea unit being hooked up and opening the connectors at the same time.
