yeah but the most important date is the record date, who cares about the x-date. plus the pr has already said the x and record date are done and over. just need to wait for it to be OK'ed by the SEC and deliver a paydate.

itlogic, imo that's just confusing language that you've focused in on.

And it may be the "ex-date pr" was just mistaken in terminology. But regardless I think your link now makes it clear that you will *not* get the divy if you don't own the stock on the pay date.

My Conclusion: if you buy MONA now you will NOT get the divy, similarly if you sell MONA now you won't get the divy either. You must have owned EFGO on or before Feb 1, 2008 and still own MONA at the time of pay date (yet to be determined).
