Should be interesting to watch UTEK. Thing has been creamated the past few months. Down some 37% from its January highs. So, if one were bullish, one would think that the news would have little impact. But the news did matter and sent the stock back to the lows for the move ... AHs anyway.
Taiwan should have stopped at 6200 when it was going up, but it overshot due to the anticipation of a victory by the KMT opposition party. Also, Chinese New Year talk sucked in a lot of money into the Taiwan market. Everyone trying to keep up with the Li's. <G>
Zeev as good as today felt if one was long, actually the only internals that healed any were the net advance declines on both indexes and they closed at extreme levels that usually suggest a drop or churn to ease them. The net high/lows on both indexes were anemic and both summation indexes still slid down the greasy negative hill today albiet the $nasi only slightly. There could be more upside tomorrow possibly a run up to 10,323 on the dow before grease spins its tires out.
i have a positive CUV (catch up value) for europe of .80% so they should be nicely green in the am. should they be short of that mark we should be weak in the am at a minimum. im not looking for a lot of downside tomorrow. would think 8-10 ndx poiints at the close
