Qualibou Energy Corp. through it’s operating subsidiary Magma Energy Corp. is developing geothermal power generation facilities throughout the Eastern Caribbean. The initial plan is to focus on the development of up to100 megawatts of power from proven steam resources on the island of St. Lucia. The company has negotiated an exclusive development contract with the Government of St. Lucia to develop this resource.



Saint Lucia:
St. Lucia is the first of a number of planned
projects in the Caribbean.

The resource is located in the area of the Qualibou
Caldera near the town of Soufriere approximately
20 miles south of the capital city of Castries.

Over the past 30 years there have a number
of studies for the area including the drilling of
9 wells.

One of these wells, a slim hole well completed
in 1989 found production grade steam but was
not part of the UN development project approved
and funded.

Over the last three decades over US$20Million
has been spent on research at the Qualibou site.

Qualibou Energy is currently in the process of
developing this exciting resource.
