Here's what may be an easier way. Every day, I go to the "Search for Company Filings" page on the SEC's website. Then I click on "Latest Filings." I enter "SC 13e3" in the form type. That gives me the going private transactions. Then I do the same thing for form "SC TO-I" to find tender offers. I may miss a few companies here and there, but not too many, and this only takes me a few minutes.
