Howdy tenac

Isn't "howdy" a hillbilly phrase? LOL

I watched it too, on my little 1 inch t.v....well actually I put on the gizmo that made it into a two inch screen. My brother called me to tell me it was going to be on. The speech didn't give me the warm fuzzies like it some times does. lol I didn't bother to listen to the hoopala that goes with it afterwards.

Your remark reminded me of this;

Revelation 11:3-14 (From my prophecy study Bible by Grant R. Jeffrey)

John then describes the supernatural ministry of God's two witnesses who will prophesy for 1260 days. After 1260 days, they will finish their ministry and be killed by the antichrist. Unrepentant sinners will rejoice in their death, and the two will remain unburied on the streets of Jerusalem for three and a half days. The whole world will see their bodies. Yet, miraculously and fearfully, God will resurrect them and take them to heaven in the sight of their enemies.

This prophecy clearly foreshadows modern-day, worldwide, television coverage. Only in this generation have people been able to see the events as they occur from all over the world in live television broadcasts...

Which now I thought of something else...maybe? I can find it later. I can get side tracked too and ramble. lol

fwiw It's the t.v. comment that Jeffrey mentioned that I wanted to share. So true.

tenac I found it...

What I was thinking of. I looked for another author for their comments but couldn't remember where I read it. But at least I found what I was thinking of. This is because you mentioned t.v. from last night and I watched it too. :)

Rev.13:11-18 By Grant R Jeffrey, Prophecy study Bible (edited by me)

....Yet John give us a clear picture of the false prophet. This false prophet looks "like a lamb" (13:11) but behaves like a demon, attempting to bring down fire from heaven. Though he relies on Satan's limited power, this false prophet creates an automated image of the antichrist that people are forced to worship on penalty of death...

It was the "automated image" comment that makes me go hmmm.

Rev.13:14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.

15.And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

(I read once or heard? that this could be a computer image?? I can't remember now) You get the general jest though, of what I was thinking with the "automated image" comment of Jefferey's.
