Actually, StreetDeck with One Voice can go in any car old or new. Does this fact alleviate your concern?

Please elaborate on your comments of One Voice being behind the curve? Have you read the patents? If so specify where in the process this occurs.

Maybe you should reread the process and ask your question to One Voice directly. 4th generation Voice Recognition from One Voice Technology is not a speech engine. Its a Command and control interface designed to overcome problems of speech engines.

It seems you are highlighting the problems One Voice technology overcomes not what is holding it back.

Please elaborate.

Well if you go to the VW site..
you will see no VR components..It is interesting you also mentioned BMW..I also see them as a candidate for VR controlled computer that includes email read and send capabilities..This part is hilarious..

"One Voice VR does not parse well with MMSE (minimum mean-square error) algorithms adopted to suppress false/inaccurate commands resultant of the more diverse and much louder background noise in a moving automobile environment (windows down, road noise, cabin conversation, baby crying, etc). It would seem that OV software would have to adapt a few critical program elements to overcome this. Why a manufacturer would wait on this while proven four mic systems/software currently exist and are sync'd with many major system interfaces in use would be puzzling at best."

Where did you pull that from?? Actually Onev's VR works just as well if not better than most other VR tech in environments where the noise level is quite high..They have demoed that feature at every Tech show they have been in.. where the noise levels are quite
high..Considering HiPe car computers have a ringing endorsement for the VR by Onev in their tech..it may make a lot of sense if you actually ask people who use the tech if it has problems..Not even a good try on your part..RB would be more receptive to your type of post I am sure...veno

OV email read feature gets louder as back ground noice picks up (I use # to mute the mic), they developed a noise cancellation feature awhile back, not sure if that is software or hardware related.

Santa Barbara - GM/Onstar and General Magic (Tragic).
GMGC went belly up years ago. Onstar has the patents
of gmgc under dubious circumstances.

onev has patents, so do a lot of vr companies.

There must be some differences, but I don't know the details of these differences.
