Even with electrical engineering the employers are getting greedy and going to asia/india to hire cheap quality for 20% of the price they pay here.

all they care for is max the profit.

there are some careers that cant be going overseas like medical profession (nursing, surgeons, etc).

Waterloo...I assume you're based in Eastern Canada ? Because provinces like BC and Alberta are booming and employers are having a hard time finding workers, even for low paying unskilled jobs. Ofcourse if US growth slows to a halt Canada will feel it at some point, but for now, it's still boom times out west.
