Thanks for answering yayaa. So how much is required to purchase one contract? I am very much intereted in opening up an account at IB or ThinkorSwim to trade futures.

I am planning to open one up with $5000. I just want to see if I have enough to purchase at least one ZG contract. So ZG trades just like the price of Gold? If Gold is 890, ZG's value is at 890?

Please walk me through this process, and how much you could have made off each contract and how.
