I cant DISagree more. Hubble has been an absolute goldmine of new knowledge. I can think of MANY things to cut before letting Hubble die....IE all of the 10s (100s?) of Millions of dollars being shoveled at Haliburton with NO auditing...

Urmy, you need to check a little more on some of your facts; the cost for maintaining the Hubble right now is roughly equivalent to the cost of the postage that will be expended on the Mars project (g). Also, try googling the Hubble, you will find some very interesting facts you are not aware of regarding the value and usefulness of the project.
