Cool, you're the guy to keep us updated on that (since it is part of your profession) and we await your comments. Oh, when you post them, PM them to me and I'll place them in the list.
Using the five star group PR, we can gage just how massive this SINGLE industry is.... Our goal for 2008, just in the USA, is $5,000,000. I'd say this is a fair goal after examining the #'s...
"The strong listings growth reflects the activation of Five Star Group distributors for field visits and sales calls to the stores. http://www.fivestargroup.com/index.htm By achieving the targeted growth in NY Winning Colours® store listings, Winning Brands remains on-track for achieving the previously announced goal of a 5,000 store USA Winning Colours® retailing group by the end of 2008 within the 40,000 store paint & decorating sector. On average, each independent retailer (such as the majority of NY stores) represents $1,000 per year in minimum targeted annual resale revenue per fiscal year at the wholesale level to qualify as a participating retailer. Winning Brands management is targeting $5 Million annually for Winning Colours® Multi-Cleaner from this sector by the end of 2008. Winning Brands’ other targeted sectors for Winning Colours® Multi-Cleaner and Winning Brands’ other products are not included in this sales objective. No assurances can be made that Winning Brands will achieve its goal, meet its revenue targets or realize significant profitability as a result of meeting its targets."
In other words, there are 40,000 paint and decorating stores in the USA and to QUALIFY as a dealer you have to spend $1000 per year at the WHOLESALE level, right?
40,000 stores X $1,000 MINIMUM per year = $40,000,000 in MINIMUM potential.
This gives us an idea of how much growth can be attained in this ONE industry. How much potential for the hardware retailers? Grocery? Marine? etc?....
We only need a little slice!
Home Depot is just the beginning for our rack placement IMO....
We're on the top of Bills list this week, AGAIN....
