Zeev - NVEC closed up over 9% on a "magazine" write-up. If Forbes reported that battery-powered MRAM was available now, rather than in 2006, the move would be real. Do you think NVEC can enjoy the "write-up" without the product?

nice little sprint on NVEC eod off mid $39's ...

it was this Forbes alert letter that did the trick, now they have to come up with something concrete soon.

Forbes Wolfe Nanotech Report
Nanosphere Alert
****************************

Dear Subscriber,

A top Cypress [CY] executive made positive comments on the
company's MRAM development earlier today on a CSFB investor
conference call on next generation memory. Ralph Schmitt,
Cypress' Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing, said
Cypress (a NVE Corporation [NVEC] licensee) has working MRAM but
wants to improve the soft error rate. Schmitt said the company
"could easily sample today" but wants to improve the reliability
first. Schmitt said "we feel very confident that we're close to
having a production-ready product." NVE CEO Dan Baker also
joined Schmitt on the call.

Schmitt said Cypress views MRAM as "the holy grail of memory"
and revealed the company has already invested $22 million in
capital equipment that's specific to the MRAM process. Schmitt
said while battery-backed up nonvolatile memory will be MRAM's
first addressable market, the technology is "2-3 years out for
being solution in (wireless) handsets". He indicated Nokia
(a Cypress customer) is interested in using early versions
of MRAM.

Investor concern over Cypress' MRAM development has served as a
drag on NVE's stock since mid-January. We continue to rate NVEC
a Buy and think today's price represents an attractive entry
point for long-term nanotech investors.

Zeev once again thank you for your input. My opinions are based on market action in many small stocks I follow and the bids are moving up and the selling is near dead on many. Anyway I too am early as with silver the past two weeks but maybe now the ride will begin. I also like medicals do you see that as a sector getting hot?

interesting re: FCX Zeev..

I have 2 battles going on.. One is with DNA where the slippage on my stop was some .50, and another with Ameritrade that took out stops that should never have hit..

Funny how I recall this happening quite often on volatile days.. and I am 100% certain it has less to do with lack of bids/asks and more to do with certain controlling parties taking advantage of the volatility to line their already fat pockets at our expense..

My positions are rather small so I usually can get away with solid stops (and I allow myself .10 to adjust if I feel its obvious stops are being run).. but today was pretty blatant..
