The reason is simple: You don't download the Movies or shows,

Once you have Installed the GridNetworks Player, you just select a Movie, TV show or documentary and click on it ..

It then IMMEDIATLEY starts to load it and play it.

YOUR WORDING OF "downloading" is just wrong.

POINT, CLICK and WATCH = REELTIME

Sorry, Bud, we have all watched hundreds of flicks on RLTR, and tested the site more than we could count, and the worst experience anybody here has had doesn't even come close to your claim. For example, the worst I have had (and it was nearly a year ago) was a one-two seconds buffering issue when I was using a very slow connection and very old computer. I've had some minor out-of-sync experiences lately that lasted a few seconds and minor image problems, but that is it. I have never had to wait more than a couple of minutes to start watching a flick. Furthermore, RLTR is not a download. You can start watching in about a minute, and if you go to your powergrid icon at the bottom, right hand corner, you will be able to track the download at it is taking place--while watching. Your knowledge of how ReelTime works is so poor that you cannot even write a bashing message that is believable.
