"IAHL holds the patent for placing a turboprop power plant high up in the tail fin of the aircraft thereby creating the following: (1) reduced cycles -- do not have to turn off engine after landing to ingress and egress passengers; (2) refuel with engine running; (3) much longer time before overhaul (TBO) thus lowering operating cost; (4) dramatic increase in power -- the installed Honeywell TPE 331-12 engine increases overall power 22% from previous 3 Lycoming 540 series piston engines used on predecessor platform; (5) Useful load is increased by approximately 800 pounds; (6) Location of engine in tail section greatly reduces cabin noise for passenger comfort; (7) Cleaner air intake -- engines located in front of fuselage or on wings intake debris, dust and foreign objects on runway. Bottom line results, much more profitable to aircraft operators, who will experience approximately 70% overall savings and experience a lower cost per seat per mile over the competition. INTEGRITY will enable reopening many routes closed as non-profitable sectors and create an opportunity for worldwide commuter expansion."
