Doug, avatar - I think that 2 high performance unbuffered DIMMs per channel with Socket939 is about all that can be hoped for, unless somehow DDR2 allows for a lesser loading of the bus. I don't see Intel doing any more than that with unbuffered RAM either. Now the Socket939 registered RAM FXs.....
